My name is Bob and I love to drive.  Just about any type of vehicle and just about anywhere.

I'm a semi-retired, professional driver, available to drive your vehicle (anything with wheels) to anywhere, as long as it's legal, of course. I've logged over 875,000 miles in semi's with straight 10, super 10, 13 speed and 18 speed transmissions, pulling flatbed, oversize, dry van, reefer and tanker. I've loaded steel coils in Chicago, bars in Buffalo, driven paper rolls across Canada and unloaded butter and sour cream at grocery warehouses. I've hand unloaded furniture in NY city, sat in the Port of Los Angeles waiting for US Customs to clear a load, driven escorted loads and transported mail for the U.S. Postal Services.  In Iraq, I , uploaded, downloaded and transported fuel from and to bag farms and delivered ice to military outposts in the Iraq desert....well experienced, well qualified and professional.

PROFESSIONAL DRIVER FOR HIRE

OVER A MILLION MILES.  In cars, 4x4's, SUV's, motorcycles, straight trucks and semi's, I've driven well over a million miles. As a civilian contractor, I pulled fuel tanker's, driving from base to base in Iraq and Kuwait for the US Army and Department of Defense (KBR 2004-2005).   Driving is my thing.  I've written DVD's and special reports about truck driving, driver options, awareness and how to become an Independent Driver (see farther down on this page).  I'm current and up-to-date on the FMCSA's CSA2010 new safety standards.

My Wisconsin, class A commercial license expires in 2016 with tanker and motorcycle endorsement. I have no felonies, a near perfect driving record, an active medical card and recent drug screen.  If necessary, I can do a drug test at a local hospital occupational health clinic today, providing you with the results and be driving tomorrow.  I have quick access to all major airports.

I don't need a week of orientation.  We both have faxes and telephones to take care of that.  My medical card is always current.  I'm very accustomed to a phone call, fax, off to the airport, get the keys and go.
